Covid-19 Proposal - 5G

Under the impact of COVID-19, in order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, home isolation and online meeting/courses have become some of the anti-epidemic methods. However, due to the inevitable sense of distance in online meetings, people can only see each other's faces through the computer. Many people are too lazy to even dress up properly. Work efficiency is also greatly reduced because of these informal feelings.
Computers often suffer from delays in the synchronization of sound and screen due to network connection problems. While speakers are speaking, there is no way to fully grasp the expressions of participants to understand whether the proposal is loved or accepted.
In view of the new era of 5G and the variety of emerging industries, we can imagine if COVID-19 occurs in the next ten years, that is, 2030, what kind of response will we take. We can figure out the solution which is yet unachievable in this era from our imagination of the future.
5G theory has a hundred times speed of 4G networks, super low latency and more information load carried by higher frequencies. COVID-19 is a global pandemic, and many people are forced to stay at home, causing disruption of the industrial chain and suspension of teaching. Imagine that in the future world, 5G infrastructure and all aspects are mature, then there must be more solutions to these kinds of situations such like students are forced to stay at home and cannot go to school.
For example, using the characteristics of 5G low latency and wide bandwidth, it can combine AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), MR (Mixed Reality), and even Qualcomm's existing XR (Extended Reality) or other virtual reality technologies, which combines many sensors in various aspects and is transmitted to each device user (students and teachers) through high-speed calculations, which can realize the interaction of teachers and students in virtual scenes. It is no longer just an online course like OCW or MOOCS, but a course that makes the distance between students and teachers closer.
